Thanks for submitting your kubectl plugin to Krew!
One of the krew-index maintainers will review it soon. Note that the reviews for new plugin submissions may take a few days.

In the meanwhile, here are a few tips to make your plugin manifest better:

  • Make sure your plugin follows the best practices.
  • Eliminate redundant wording form shortDescription (it should be max 50 characters).
  • Try to word wrap your description to 80-character lines (no usage examples, please).

Thanks for your patience!

I think this would be a higher signal:

Launch isolated shells for contexts

what do you think?

I see the point of the current shortDescription being slightly misleading.
But shell-ctx does actually not spawn a new shell.

What about:

Shell independent context switching

Will that be better ?

Clarification;
The basic idea behind shell-ctx is to hook into the users current shell-instance - allowing the user to keep the same current shell-history, and any other shell-specific settings the user might have.
This will enable Kubernetes administrators to have multible shell windows open, and switch Kubernetes context per shell instance - without risking overwriting currentContext of any other shell instances.
